Bloom size and uniformity
Premium preserved roses are cut at 5–6 cm and matched so every rose in a box sits level. Uneven heights = rushed sorting.
True, even color with no bleed
Blotches or color bleeding onto the box are signs of a hurried process.
Who made it
Ask whether the brand grows and preserves its own roses or resells someone else's. (We grow, preserve, and box ours ourselves — it's why we can charge less than resellers.)
Petal integrity
Look closely at product photos for torn or patched petals — hand inspection should have caught them.
Scent
A light natural rose fragrance is the mark of hand-finishing; overpowering perfume often masks process shortcuts.
Supple, not brittle
Well-preserved petals feel soft and flex like fresh ones. Brittle or papery petals mean the drying was rushed or the preservation bath was cut short.
Box construction
